NGK Laser Iridium spark plugs are high-performance replacement plugs suitable for a wide range of BMW turbocharged engines. These plugs are one step colder than standard N55 and factory S55 plugs, making them ideal for higher-boost applications such as E85, water/methanol injection, or upgraded turbochargers.
For tuned applications, a reduced spark plug gap is recommended. Typical settings are 0.020” for higher boost setups, or 0.022” when running a stage 2 calibration on N55 engines.
