It is well documented that the N55 engine found in the M135i and M235i is prone to oil starvation issues when driven hard on the road and especially during track use. This baffled sump plate from MMX significantly reduces oil surge and helps maintain consistent oil pressure, making it the ultimate bolt-in solution to protect long-term engine reliability.
Featuring a total of seven one-way oil control flaps and precision baffling, the T-6061 anodised MMX sump baffle has been proven through thousands of miles of road and track testing. Data collected shows that under deceleration, oil pressure was maintained at 1.5 to 2 times higher compared to running without the sump baffle.
