This replacement component is manufactured using Powerflex Black Series material, increasing stiffness by 18% compared to the factory bush to better handle the higher loads experienced at this mounting point. The PFF5-4001G features a fixed 5mm offset, providing approximately ±0.5° of additional caster to enhance steering weight and feedback.
The added caster also generates increased negative camber during cornering, helping to maintain a larger tyre contact patch under load and improving grip through fast bends. For drivers who prefer a non-offset option, Powerflex also offer the PFF5-4001 bush without caster correction.
