The MOTON 1-Way Coilover Kit is a high-performance suspension upgrade developed for the 2014–2015 BMW F80 M3 and F82/F83 M4 Pre-LCI models. Aimed at drivers seeking sharper handling and improved chassis control, this system enhances grip, balance and confidence for fast-road driving and occasional track use, while remaining suitable for everyday driving.
Featuring 15-step single-adjustable damping, with rebound and compression combined, the setup allows straightforward tuning to suit different road surfaces and driving preferences. The monotube dampers incorporate an internal floating piston to keep oil and gas separated, ensuring stable and consistent damping performance even when pushed hard.
Built with durability in mind, the kit uses anodised aluminium damper bodies, PTFE-lined spherical bearings and low-friction seals. Ride height can be adjusted via fully threaded damper bodies without changing spring preload, allowing precise stance and setup control. Like all MOTON suspension systems, the kit is fully serviceable and rebuildable for long-term use.
