MMX Performance rear brake disc upgrades are engineered as a direct replacement for the factory rotors, supplied as a matched left and right pair of two-piece floating discs. Designed to reduce unsprung weight while improving braking consistency, each disc features significantly larger directional cooling vanes to promote even heat distribution, consistent pad wear, and improved cooling efficiency under demanding conditions.

Specifically developed for the BMW F80 M3, F82/F83 M4, and F87 M2 platforms, these 370mm rear discs feature precision-machined grooves to enhance heat management and reduce the risk of warping or cracking during repeated heavy braking. This makes them ideally suited for fast-road driving and track-focused applications where sustained braking performance is critical.

SUPERIOR BRAKE DISC DESIGN

The two-piece 370mm x 24mm floating construction allows the friction ring and aluminium centre hat to expand independently both radially and axially as heat builds, significantly reducing stress compared to single-piece discs. This design dramatically lowers the likelihood of cracking or distortion while extending overall service life. MMX’s signature grooved friction surface increases initial bite, clears pad debris efficiently, and delivers a balanced combination of brake feel, performance, and longevity.
